Tatiana Zaykovskaya

Tatiana’s love affair with movement started long before yoga. Growing up in Russia, she studied dance alongside linguistics and literature, falling in love with music, movement, and that magical feeling of completely losing yourself in the moment.

After moving to the U.S., she found her way to CorePower Yoga in San Diego — and eventually discovered Yoga Sculpt. She was hooked. Teaching, however? Absolutely terrifying. Standing in front of a room full of people was NOT part of the plan.

Then, after the birth of her second child, a teacher mentioned Sculpt Teacher Training. With a little encouragement from her mom, Tatiana decided to do the scary thing and sign up. Sculpt training turned into more training, a 200-hour certification, and eventually a whole new community when she moved to Colorado and found Sweaty Buddha.

Today, Tatiana teaches energetic Power Sculpt and creative Power Vinyasa classes rooted in her lifelong love of music and movement. Expect upbeat remixes, hip-hop and the occasional mini dance break in Sculpt; soulful music, creative transitions and dance-like sequencing in Vinyasa.

Her philosophy is simple: show up, do what you can, and be insanely present in your body. She loves watching students discover their own strength — whether that means finally flying into Crow, lifting heavier weights, or simply walking out of the studio a little lighter than they came in.

Outside the studio, Tatiana is an artist, fashion designer behind Tatiana’s Threads, and mom of two. Her home is happily overflowing with paintings, art supplies, tropical plants, orchids, kids…and three little parrots.

Her students have been known to say, “You kicked my butt,” “Where do you GET this energy?” and occasionally, “You’re crazy.”

She considers all three compliments. 😉
